The idea behind this image is to peel back the layers of all the different ads shown over the years, and re-expose the bare wood beneath them.

A public art project from April 1, 2007. These four billboards are part of "Making Mass Media", led by Jill Kraus Visiting Assistant Professor Christopher Sperandio at the School of Art, Carnegie Mellon University.
